I was just curious on what people call it, soda, pop, soda pop or what ever else you decide to call it.

soda is what they call it in the south.. pop is what they call it in the north. When I moved to TX and asked for a pop they thought I was a retard.. glad I'm back in MN. I wonder why some people call it soda pop.. *wastes time at work pondering*

Actually it is a very select area up here that calls it pop. Green bay is soda. Chicago, either one. East of that it is mostly soda. It is one of those minnesota things, ya sure ya betcha!

Dude, this is Minnesota... we say Pop here....

In the south they say soda, or if you're a redneck you just call every kind of pop "coke"

I've always called it pop. I have been down south where they refer to it as "coke" and its a little weird the first time you go to a restaraunt and place an order.
