I currently pay around 390 a month for my 03 eclipse and my 93 grand am.
It was about 30 dollars more until i put my grand am back on for a multi car discount.

I am currently using progressive. cheapest place i've found in over a year. and believe me i've looked.

BuildADSM 12-08-2003 06:16 PM

I don't pay anything cause my dad does all that. He is probably putting my agents kids through collage right about now cause lets see we have: a house, a boat, 2 seadoos, 5 cars all of which are full coverage but our 73 cougar XR7.

jd1828 12-08-2003 06:36 PM

$95 on a 90 tsi, liability only

Nash 12-08-2003 06:44 PM

Right now I pay 114.05 a month for liabilty on my 90 Talon TSi AWD and Comp, full glass, $0 deductible on my 99 Eclipse GST.

So it's $78 a month for the Talon and like $36 a month for the Eclipse. I have one Comprehensive Loss and two speeding tickets on my record.

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 12-08-2003 07:02 PM

$166/month for liability thru All State. If I wanted full it'd be $230+month Yay for clean records huh...(bs)

Jana 12-08-2003 07:10 PM

$120/mo for full coverage ($500 deductible) through AllState. They were the cheapest when I was looking. It was $145 until I turned 25 last April.

A//// Guy 12-08-2003 07:22 PM

I pay about $166 per month full coverage with american family.

rhino 12-08-2003 07:32 PM

$280 every six months for liability on my civic through progressive.
talked to the agent yesterday and asked about the 25 year old discount, and she ran the numbers and said that it'll decrease $2 every six months. i was expecting more than that.

Jakey 12-08-2003 07:40 PM

I am on my parents policy as the primary driver on my old '92 Grand Am SE and I believe that the rate is between $120 and $130 a month. That is with a $250 comp deductible and $500 collision deductible along with my wonderful record of 1 stop sign violation (3 years ago in January), 3 deer run-ins, and 1 dog run-in. Our policy is through Farm Bureau.

ABV 12-08-2003 07:40 PM

$130/month for full coverage on a 2000 Subaru Impreza, and liability and comp on my 240 through American Family. No tickets, no accidents, no claims over $1,000. I've had 4 tickets since I started driving, but only one in the past 3 years, and American Family has a 1 ticket grace before your rates go up.

1QUICK4 12-08-2003 08:28 PM

$280 a month for my 03 Silverado (full w/500 deduct.)

$110 a month for my 91 Saab 900 turbo (liability)

$36 every 6 months on my 67 Chevelle (storage)

$OO on my 90 Laser RST

MATCHBX 12-08-2003 09:23 PM

$96 Full coverage with a $250 deductable and full glass on my 93 Talon TSi per month.

$8 storage (comp only) for my 86 CRX Si, otherwise $60 for same coverage as the Talon per month.

That's with a Careless Driving in 2001 and a speed in 2002 and a 50/50 at fault accident in 2002.

I go thru State Farm. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I have been with them for 5 years and am 29 years old.

Puhrot 12-08-2003 09:26 PM

I pay $114 a month for both of my cars. This includes full coverage on my 92 Talon TSi AWD and Liability only on my 95 Neon. If I remember right the break down is $46 a month for the Talon and $68 for the Neon. I know that sounds backwards but that is the way the deal I work out was. This is through American Family under my own name.

I didn't think that was leagal. lol.... also for thoses of you who store cars during the winter... is there a rule that says that you can't drive them ever when they are in storage cause my family has a 73 cougar that we hardly drive at all (less than 500 miles in the last 5 or 6 years.) but we do drive it every once and a wile but the rest of the time it is in storage in a shed.

A//// Guy 12-10-2003 05:45 PM

Its not legal to drive your car with out insurance... but He doesnt drive his laser.... its his drag car. It gets trailered I believe.

Storage only means its in a garage.... whether you drive it or not is up to you... you have to activate insurance and make sure you have plates/tabs... thats about it.

BuildADSM 12-10-2003 05:56 PM

yeah I was wondering cause I knew that it wasn't leagal to drive w/o insurance. So your telling me that we can put out cougar under "storage" since we hardly drive it at all but yet still be able to drive it every once and a wile leagally?
Thanks

Nope, storage insurance means that the vehicle does not get driven at all. Storage insurance covers theft and damage incurred while in storage. If you drive the car with storage insurance it is just like driving without any insurance at all.

....Someone please correct me if I'm wrong with anything I said above :bounce:
