Kids these days...

So I was having a pretty good week. I was finishing school, got a new job, and shit was flowing pretty smoothly. Friday at around 7pm I had a graduation ceremony and that went well. I decided to go out for cocktails with some friends to celebrate a bit. Well, I wake up this morning to give my buddy a ride home and BAM. The parking spot where my car once sat is now vacant. We look around the lot thinking I moved my car in a drunken haze or something, no such luck. So I contacted the police, filed a report, and notified my insurance. Fucking punks, get a job.

Just a heads-up Mike, my car was stolen about one block from QPR. I was parked in front of the Burlington apts. Just across from the SA on the corner right there. Just thought I would warn ya.

If you all could keep a look out, I wold appreciate it.

That sucks Joe, I will keep an eye out for it. Unfortunately, the Honduh's and Acuras get stolen fairly often in this area. My neighbor across the street woke up after a rain one morning to find a stripped gutted honduh in her driveway. The cops told here they find that a lot when it rains, The thieves dispose of them then assuming no one will be out and they rain on the roof/thunder will help hide any noise. I keep a pretty good eye on the ones we have around here now, if it is stealable or has anything of value in it, it is usually kept in the bay or in view of the house. I check throughout the night as well.

Again, sorry to hear about this, I will definately keep my eye out Joe.

I do understand that Hondas are stolen quite a bit. As a matter of fact, they are one of the top stolen cars. But, its still a real shame that these people exist. Thanks for any help or even any effort you guys can give. Just keep an eye out, thats all I ask. Thanks again!

I did Hughes. The whole idea of it has not caught up to me yet. I have good friends who have kept me in a drunken haze. LOL. Not too mention, I just graduated and got a new job, so shit is crazy. I am sure I will be MAD VTECH PISSED tomorrow though. When are you back in town so we can get some ZA Hughes?

That sucks balls, man. Integras get stolen all over the place. My came down to visit with his girlfriend last year, and they stayed over for one night, and then called me at work the next day. 'hey, ah, did you move beth's car?' It was right in front of my house the night before.

Anyways, it was found stripped and on doughnuts about 15 blocks away. Her insurance dicked her around for about 3-4 months, making her use a rental car while they got it 'fixed.' They finally just totaled it and gave her a check for it, but it was a long, stupid process.

To make matters worse, through a series of events, I figured out almost certainly who stole the car, and informed the police. Guess what they did?

Zilch. Zippo. Nadda.

Resolution? Anyone interrested in starting a auto theft ring in minneapolis, let me know; it's apparently legal now!

Bastards.

Thanks for all the support everyone. I got a pretty fair deal on the car when I bought it, so hopefully I can end up OK on the claim.
