Rims..what looks good?
 

I am mixed on what to get my car. It's that black cherry color, and I LOVE 6-spoke rims. I just don't know what color to go with, or what rim? I like the r-1 rims that modified mag have on their project 2g dsm, but I cannot find them. I also want to hear your opinions on rims, and what everyone thinks looks good. I think a nice drop and rims look good on these cars, and no kits, but that's my opinion. What does everyone else run here? Any pics I'd like to see. also, I know this is not the f/s thread, but if anyone has a set they don't want, or could get rid of, PM me..

Personally, I'd go with a black rim with that color of a car. I think it'd look sweet :D

sorry, but I don't really like them. I am going for 17's..minimum. I'd like 18's, but I'd take 17. I perfer simpler-looking 6-spoke rims too..adr gt, or the r-1's. I like that stuff..but, I am still looking. The tires on my car are beyond bald, so I break all 4 wheels loose, like tonight..

ok well I forgot I don't have 50 posts yet which means I can post pics. Give me an email addy and I'll send you a shot. That have some scratches but the price would be right, plus they have some awesome tires that were barely used.

If you are looking for some cool 6 spoke wheels that aren't that expensive. I personally really like these two.

The Tenzo R Mean 6 in black with polished MIRROR (not many cheaper companies offer mirror lips which are what high end wheels do)

I can get you the Motegi's , I have no distributor for the TenzoR's. Tenzo has a pretty rice-a-ronie reputation, but who cares, their new knock off line of wheels looks pretty awesome, especially with the real mirror polished lips.

Ok, I looked through the latest superstreet, and found a few rims I liked. I know that gunmetal or bronze would look good..I am leaning towards bronze. I know white would kinda stick out, and silver..well, everyone has silver.

lucius, why are you selling those wheels? you kinda NEED those wheels to keep from draggin anymore! What are you goin to replace them with?

I figured out, that out of every color a rim could come with..white's too flashy, black isn't noticed enough, and doesn't work too well with my color (imo) so I am shooting for bronze wheels. not gunmetal..bronze. I want some 6-spoke bronze wheels. te-37s would be nice, but frankly, I owe too much on all my tools and the car to spend on that. I want some simple 6-spoke wheels..raze 74s, or even those work wheels, or the enkei rsv..whatever I posted in that list..but in bronze. Can anyone get deals on rims? even if it's just rims, and not tires..I got deals on tires, so all I really need is rims..

Remember, I am looking for bronze, so I am still open for ideas. Also, when looking at offset, what should it be around for a 7 inch wide wheel..what about 7.5? I am curious as to what will fit, and fill up the wheel well nicely..
