In the local junkyards....

Has anyone seen a 2g with a good front? Not the fenders, hood, bumper, etc but the front part of the body with no damage.Looks like I'll be chopping the unibody in half and welding in a new front on my GSX.Let me know

About a year ago I think Jacek mentioned there being a 2G in a junkyard in Winona. As for if it's there or not is a good question.

I saw a N/T at U-pull a while ago but it is gone now. I will keep an eye out.

Last I was at Whetstone Salvage in Winona, there was a 95/96 Talon with a good front IIRC. I can try to check on it again this weekend for ya.

Geez, that's a lot of work when you can get a full rolling chassis for <$1500.

BTW, when are you coming to get these airbags? I'm going to have to start charging a storage fee. :D

I tried to find a shell for months, cheapest one I could find was like $4k.Plus the rest of the car is in excellent shape, doesn't even have 50k miles on it yet, so I'd like to keep as much of it as I can.Quartering the front is way easier than it sounds anyway.

Fuck I keep forgeting about those airbags, I'll be up there soon.

Check on the Tuners classifieds, last time I looked there were a couple of 2G AWD shells on there.

The car is already over half way fixed, so I'm not looking for a shell any more

Yeah there still is a shitload of them. My former boss owns a junkyard up there and I've seen a bunch up there. In winona its more of a pick your color type of deal.
