*CANCELED*July 17 DSMStyle.com Dyno day @ Elite Autosport
http://www.dsmstyle.com/dyno.jpg
http://www.dsmstyle.com/dyno.htm It's that time again. It will take place just before the NOPI Event in St Louis and a few weeks before the DSM Shootout. So it's perfect timing to get some numbers down for the car and see what your looking at. As of right now we will be looking at doing 2 runs per car for $55.00. First come first served to sign up now. With the DSMs we want to sign up at least 8 cars to get on the dyno. Depending on the actual amount of cars that sign up we are looking at allowing addition runs for $15 or $20 each with a limit on the additional runs as well. This will not be a tuning day as there just isn't time to tune the amount of cars that want to sign up. If the # of cars goes through fast and you want to see if Elite will stay an hour and you want to pay their full tuning rate that's for you to discuss with them. This is a great chance to spend time before hand street tuning, and getting a very good rate at a dyno to see what you car is making. So for now since we are still planning this post up if your in, and if your a AWD or FWD car. (If your AWD you must be FWD mode before hand, this will not be done while on the lift for the dyno) Also feel free to post up any comments, suggestions, and items you did and didn't like over the last 2 years we had the event. Will also be looking for some people to help out again. Those that helped the last 2 years will get first crack at helping again. Entry Lists : * = has a gaurenteed spot. Order will set at a later date. *blageo23 - Mike - FWD DSM *carltalon - Carl - FWD DSM *EclipseGST - Jake - FWD DSM *dsm95gsxer - Brent - FWD & AWD DSM (Not sure which is going to be used) *Nash - Andy - AWD DSM *AlpineTSi - Matt - AWD DSM *xluciusx - John - AWD DSM *TalonFiero - Jim - AWD *Grey Wolf - Reid - RWD Quest *Conquests Are Better - ? - RWD Quest TalonTSiDude - Chris - RWD S2000 reserve list 1Quick4 - Brian - RWD Chevelle reserve list |

If you want to help out feel free, it's up to you. I could use the help as always. I plan to have a bit more going for the grilling this year ;)
Also on a side not ANYONE with an ELITE AUTOSPORT Welded VC please return them if you havn't ever done so. As of right now ANYONE who needs one will have to find one themselves as Elite doesn't have any to lend out. Lets help them out and find out where they all went. Allan |

I'm one of those with a welded VC, and undecided if I am dynoing. Either way, I'll drop off the VC next time I'm there. |

How hard is it to find a spare VC to get welded? I'm pretty sure my car will be running and tuned by then.

Re: July 17 DSMStyle.com Dyno day @ Elite Autosport
Any non DSM can sign up on the reserve list. DSMs will get priority but to keep the guys at Elite there for a reason we won't call it a day if only 4 DSMs are running and can make it. I am guessing the only thing we will look at is keeping all non DSM cars FWD depending on the time it takes to change the setup to be able to dyno and tie down a RWD car.
So for now it doesn't matter if your car is stock or makes 500+ hp already. If you want baseline #s for a very low cost prices or want to see the impact of a few new mods post up. Yes if the car breaks you can bow out. If you know you can't make it after you have singed up LET US KNOW ASAP!!!! It's the kind thing to do. So post up if you want your car on the dyno. Get those VCs and get them welded. And yes if doen right you can drive to the event in FWD mode. Just drop the driveshaft at home. I will update the first post with all entries on from this post forward. Please use the following format: Name, DSM or non DSM, FWD or AWD, and we will add you to the list. |

Re: July 17 DSMStyle.com Dyno day @ Elite Autosport
JET, DSM, AWD - if that doesn't run, then:
JET, Chevy 3/4 ton, RWD :D |
Re: July 17 DSMStyle.com Dyno day @ Elite Autosport
I would like to but I have never installed, nor seen a welded VC and I honestly have no clue how to do it, and I don't have one. Other then that, I'd be interested. I should be home in about a month.

OK, I gonna say that by all Means Nash is last. Lets say a feature attraction for everyone who wants to see a car make multiple 40 PSI pulls. ;) |
