Help choose the day for the next All Mitsu Cookout
 

Hey everyone,

I'm starting the planning for the 2005 All Mitsu Cookout. Once again I'm trying to decide on a particular date.

Last year I had it on a Sunday. It was the Sunday after the Autovations show. It seemed to work well, but I know there were a few zombies at the Cookout who had been up really late the night before at the Autovations show. I know not a lot of you go to Autovations, but there are probably 5-10 cars at the Cookout who also go to Autovations. So Sunday, August 21st, the day after Autovations is one of the two days I'm looking at.

The other day would be the following Sunday, August 28th. My only issue with this day is that weekend is the Pro Rally up North in Bemidji. I know a few of you go to this every year, but the Pro Rally seems to have lost a lot of fans over the years and this year I don't believe there are any manufacture teams. (aka Mitsu or Subaru) So I'm not sure how many people are still going up north to spectate this year.

For a lot of you, you'll probably go to the Cookout no matter which day I choose, but I'd like to get an idea of what you prefer. I'll probably decide in the next few days, so put your vote in.

I'd say the 21st, I signed up last year but couldnt make it. I'll be there for sure this year! With the Talon I bought from Hennekens. :)

I voted the 21st, since if I was to go to one of the other events it would be the pro rally.

I'm not into the Autovations thing.

Either will probably work, but I prefer the 28th.

The 28th I will be up in Bemidji for Ojibwe Forests Rally. I voted the 21st.

Hey everyone,

I just spoke to the Ellingson Car Museum. I've decided to have the All Mitsu Cookout on Sunday, August 21st. Thats the day after Autovations. I appreciate those who voted. That helped make up my mind.
