New throttle body installed
Installed a Cyclone throttle body on my 95 TSi. Don't know if it's suppose to be a very big improvement or not??? It seems to have better throttle response over the stock one, is much easier to adjust, and fixed my idle problem. It did however require the cutting of my upper IC pipe and the use of a rubber coupler. Just thought I'd see wut anybody had to say about this or had any experience with adjusting it.

Re: New throttle body installed
It should have been an upgrade. 1g throttle bodies are bigger the 2g throttle bodies which allows more airflow.
Kel is gettin' with the program, I'm so proud. :p |

Re: New throttle body installed
OK....idle problem is back. DERNIT!
Only sometimes though. Checked for boost/vaccum leak today and found none. Still have a temp sensor code.....could that be the problem? I have this little coolant leak which I was thinkin might allow enough air into the system to make the coolant boil out. That in turn might be screwin with the temp sensor which is sending a reading to the ECU and throwin the check engine light and also makin it idle according to the temp readings. Does this sound possible or am I completely off my rocker? |

Re: New throttle body installed
Had an issue with blowing IC pipe off 1G TB so I put the 2G back on. Also replaced the IAC with a new one and guess wut.......idle is now fixed (imagine that). Still have a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and that dern coolant leak to fix though.
