anyone good with internet connection sharing?
 

I have a problem i rebooted my computer and now the internet wont work...we have 3 comps connected to the cable modem via ethernet hub, they all run windows xp..but one comp cant get the dns server, subnet, and the DCHP server, basically all i get is the physical address and the ip address.

Restart the Hub or Router that carries the signal from your modem to the computers. Then try releasing the Ip address through your routers/hubs Ip address, and then renew it.

Is the computer set to automatically get the IP address?

yes, problem is it cant get a network private ip address instead it gets the isp ip address but when inter conenction sharing it suppose to get a private ip.
