Got the 1G bug
 

After storing it for 7-9+ years(I don't even remember anymore) I started working on my 90 TSI yesterday.Since its been sitting outside uncovered with no windows for the last 3 -4 years, I was expecting it to be rusted pretty bad.To my suprise, there is next to no rust on this car, not even surface rust.The only rust I can find is around the door pin switches and a little around one of the molding clips.

There was like 50 lbs of leaves inside, I was waiting for some critter to bite me in the ass while I was removing the interior.Anyway, I'm getting excited, I can't wait to pop a motor in it.Looks like I'll be in 1g hell in no time

Why did your originally store it? Still thinking of an EVO?

I bought this one and another 1G GST with trashed motors planning on fixing them quick and selling them both but that never happened.I've actually sold and repo'ed them both on 2 different occasions, because the people didn't keep up the payment plans.

Yeah I'm still planning on an EVO, But I may get a 98 Talon TSI tonight or tomorrow which means I can't afford an EVO anymore
