Question for you 3/S guys
 

I'm still trying to figure out a tranny for a friends car. It's a 91 Stealth with I believe a 3.0 DOHC and an automatic tranny that's blown up. I've searched car-parts.com and noticed that the results show 91 and 92 trannies from both stealth's and 3kgt's. This may be a stupid question, but are these all interchangable with each other?

yes. The internals are also the same as the turbo dsm models.

3/S = 3000GT / Stealth. Not to be an ass or anything, but is seems like it would be kind of obvious. But yeah they are interchangeable.

Well with some shit you just never know and when you're on a tight budget you can't afford to screw up the first time. Besides I asked a specific question because when I looked for a tranny online both model cars and years 91 and 92 pop up. So I am just trying to verify it.

Hey Steve, if these buttheads are done harassing you, I can probably hook you up with a manual front drive stealth tranny, if your buddy feels like doing the conversion. The other parts for the swap can be had as well. Give me a call if you are interested.
