Rebuilding a Mitsu Turbo

Has anyone ever rebuilt a Mitsu turbo before? I took apart my td05h 20g today and found that the thrust bearing had a bit of wear and the turbine side oil seal is shot. The rest of the turbo seems to still be in decent shape (shaft looks good using a caliper, wheels don't show any damage, bearings look fine. I have looked at rebuild kits for $100 and thought I might give it a shot, seems simple enough as the damage doesn't appear to be to terrible.

yup best bet is a local shop. or send an email to forcedperformance.com or slowboyracing.com and explain your situation. they rebiuld turbos for a nice price. just send it in. you might be without a turbo for a long time but id feel better having it done profesionaly than having some chop shop around the corner do it. but thats just me.
