What would be the best swap for my 92 eagle talon esi, and where can i get it??

Honestly selling it and buying a Turbo FWD or AWD is gonna be the best route, but it yoru set on keeping the car get a 4G63 and prepare to have a open pocket book.

transmission, downpipe, throttle body elbow, intercooler, piping, exhaust manifold, turbo, oil cooler, oil lines, water lines, O2 housing, wiring harness, gauge cluster, and ECU, wiring, ect ect etc. Oh yeah.. A motor. :dsmrule:

Just look around and you will find a deal. I got my 92 AWD for $1500.

I sold my old 91 TSi AWD for $1100 cash.

browse around, you'll find one cheap enough that the fwd non-turbo to turbo conversion is consitered a waste of money.
If your motor went i'd suggest putting in another non turbo and calling it a day.

Or shit, maybe even a week.

Shit, I just missed a 91 AWD Talon that went through the auction today with less than 100k miles. Damn.

Hmmm, scratch that, looks like it didn't sell. Red 91 5-speed with 89K miles. I'll see if I can pick it up next week if anyone's interested. Don't know anything else about it yet.

If you nuked your NA motor and want to replace it with another one, I know a guy with a totaled GS. You could get a good deal on his. Otherwise, talk to Steve when your ready, he will get you hooked up. You might consider following JET around as well, cheap deals on 1G's seem to gravitate his direction. :toast:

There was just an ad for a 1g AWD in the star trib that runs & drives for $900. It was in the thrifties.
