Nice Run was that on Race gas or Pump Gas?

Nice! You need a faster host though...

Re: Getting Faster
Time for a bigger turbo. What was your lb/min at 28psi?
|
Re: Getting Faster
Time for that bigger turbo to catch up with the other white '99 gsx twin car. Those big ass rims sure are helping weighing you down for that traction ;)

What tires do you run? |

Answers;
c16 Yes, I'm ready for a bigger turbo. 53.+ lb/min at 7800 rpm (That flow is from my 11.86 @ 122.10 pass) Nitto NT555 225/40/ZR18 tires. Well as I'm sure some of you, including myself, were wondering why the car is not going faster than it is, especially since I lost mph from last week, read on.. I figured out today why I was having boost problems last night (not enough boost for those wondering, I was shooting for 32 psi.). I thought my car was slowing down due to my Profec-b screwing up and dropping the pressure. After looking at my datalogs from last night I noticed my W/B was reading richer than normal with no changes in settings. So today I made a boost leak checker with a pressure regulator and found not 1, but 4 boost leaks. The major one coming from my GReddy FMIC under the bumper. The upper pipe had pushed it's way completely loose from the clamp/coupler and was just sitting there in the end of the coupler. Under high pressure (25+ psi) air started rushing out of it. So I pulled the front bumper and got it fixed. The other smaller ones will require a little more work but are fixable. So the moral of this story? Those times I ran last night would have been better if it weren't for those leaks. So expect better times than this. |

I didn't own a leak tester set-up, so built one today. If I had owned one already, I would have checked it sooner. |
Re: Getting Faster
Hmmm.........sounds like u got it under control.
