I just saw on the news that Red McCombs gave the OK to trade Randy Moss. Has anyone else seen or read anything about this?

Yeah, it's been out and about for a few weeks now that he could be headed for places like San Fran for the #1 draft pic, Ravens for some good Defensive players and maybe 1 or 2 other teams.

Yea red is just a business man in it for the money. Im suprised he just doesnt sell the whole team because thats what hes in it for anyway...

He is trying to sell the team, but wants like 50 mill more that the appraised value of the vikings or some shit like that. I hope the 49ers dont try and get him for their draft pick and some more shit cause even though the guy has talent he would be just another TO for the 9ers.

The Vikings will SUCK without moss. We saw this when moss was hurt for the first time in his carreer, we were getting pummelled by every team in the NFL. Red Mccombs is a Fucking dumbass. i would never get rid of moss if my life depended on it. its so retarded.

Well you can kiss the Vikings ass good bye. Not saying Moss is always right in what he does,but he is one of the best widerecivers in the NFL. If the Vikings loose the playmaker what the hell are they going to do, start running the ball more? They dont have an offense to do that kind of stuff. And Red is a dumb ass for not buying anyone else also.

We'll see if Fowler has the 30% first. The NFL told Taylor to have an offer ready, because they aren't sure if Fowler has the funds to back up the offer. Taylor is very interested and he will probably buy the team if this gets shot down (Remember Tom Clancy?).

Everything out there suggest he has the money and one of the guys Sportcenter had talked about being able to be in the ring of ownership with the Vikings as well is Emmitt Smith.

Get McCombs out of there get someone new and get some more better players. Keep Moss, and get some players that can get the job done. If they could win a super bowl that would create alot of revenue.

Moss is going to the Raiders. I feel like we gave him away. I have zero confidence in the Vikings when it comes to the draft thought it would be pretty hard to screw up the 7th and 18th pick. Hopefully we can pick up a good reciever through free agency.

Oh well, I love pain, thats why I am a Vikings fan.

Wow, everyone has a different story on the deal, but none of them get us much in return. That is a bunch of crap. The raiders are going to have a great receiving corp now though. Porter and Moss, damn! Too bad the rest of their team sucks :D

JET, just to clarify it sounds like the vikes are going to get napolean harris LB the 7th overall pick and a late round pick in exchange for Moss. I'm sure there will be a press conference from winter park tomorrow or very soon to confirm this deal.

I think it was shady for Red to deal off Randy before the new possible owner takes hold of the team. I guess will just have to see how this pans out. Gotta love all the Viking drama! :D

Yeah, that was the first deal I saw. Yahoo said that one, but then I saw a few others. Harris is pretty good, and a 1st round pick MAY turn out, but Moss is a sure thing. I don't think you give up a player like that for a prospect and a decent player. I agree, Red is a prick for trying to do this now. I bet Taylor won't buy the team without Moss.
