Fun with revlimiter
 

Here is an example of too much torque combined with crappy tires and a slippery track. It bounced off revlimiter a dozen times in 1st gear before I had enough speed to shift into 2nd and then once the turbo spooled up in 2nd, it bounced off revlimiter a good half dozen times.

That was this fall(I didn't actually look at the vid., but I am assuming it was joliet...). The car is still in one piece, the tranny needs to be put back in... So it's still a running car...

I have the 10.4 vid... its fricken sweet!!!! As of that 10.4 runI believe 4th gear stripped the gear teeth off. The tranny is back together as far as I know. Just needs to be put back in like speedy boy said ;)

On the earlier 11.6 video, I had also lifted a little in 2nd becuase it felt like it was going a bit too far sideways on me.

On this run I tried launching and not going WOT to hopefully get less tire spin. It probably only bounced off revlimiter in 1st gear 8 times instead of 12 times. My datalogs said I held it at 40% throttle for part of first gear. You don't get to see the excellent 2.037 60'(the other video was a 2.063 60'), because Cher somehow turned the camera off for a couple seconds on accident.

That was the coolest 1/8 mile I've ever seen prety mutch all revlimiter hitting and then POP!
