Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

hahahah...those do look photo shopped. Well, all i know is that some ricer took his time for making that Civic look like it had an Evo engine. LMAO

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

If it is photo-shopped, that one hell of a good job!!!!! All 4 pics would have to have been done.

I only posted 4. There were like 8 on the page i saw it on. What would make you guys think it's not real??

You can do that do a dodge colt, right?

Why not a civic?

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

Cuz a Colt has very similar motor-mounts.

And technically it's "4G63 powered". ;)

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

And 1G 4g63's are readily available... why would someone pull a motor from an evo and let it sit? I guess I dont see why youd pull a motor from an evo unless someone totalled the car and the engine was untouched.

Since when are motor mounts such a HUGE deal? Custom fabrication can work wonders.

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

I don't disagree. I was just making the point that it's much easier to drop one into the Colt/Summit/Mirage.

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

I want to see pic's of the AWD system. He would need custom axles all around, custom drive shaft, and all new mounting points. I could see maybe an EVO engine with a FWD dsm tranny, but AWD?

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

From what I heard it was not AWD. I think this was posted on MNSC last week.

slowHonduh 02-01-2005 11:28 PM

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

Well the guy who posted it on honda-tech is friends with the owner and he "claims" that it is AWD.

Wether it is or not i don't know. But if it is, that's one anorexic*spelling* evo he has there.

Tell him to post pictures of the rear pumpkin then.

I want to know what's lined up next to the "honduh" with the fucking wheelie bars. Look in the first pic.

a bike

Re: AWD EVO-Powered Civic

That is total photoshop. If he went through all the work to do it he would have some mad tech shots to prove it. Look at the last pic. There is know where near enough room for the tranny and the turbo would be in the radiator.
