Evo's?

Hey
I heard earlier today from somone at work that they are considering "Lemoning" the Evo 8s between 2003-2004. He was saying that one of his friends Evo just up and died. The dealership he brought it to could not figure out what was wrong with it. Anyways they said (the dealership) that a bunch of Evos have come back witha similar problem where they are just not firing. Anyways they ended up Lemoning out his 2003 Evo for a 2005 evo.
So my question is have any of you guys on here heard anything like this or if there is any "validity" in what this guy told me?

Interesting, maybe Chris from Brookdale Mitsu will be able to tell us if this is correct or not.

Although it is totally possible they were just screwing with me when they were talking about it... but they seemed serious :/

You know you can buy a Ford that can through its tires roll over and kill you. If you make it through that, they also like to expode from the cruise controll. They have not been lemoned.

I agree they where pulling your leg.

Just because the tires were bad, that won't lemon out a car. The product was defective, not the vehicle.
