brake problem
I take the car through the auto carwash and when I get out the brakes are really hard. Its like driving a car without power breaks. I noticed the same thing happen this last weekend after doing lots of drifting in the snow. Snow was getting packed into the rims. It goes away after pushing the breaks a few times. I think it has something to do with moisture getting on the breaks.
Pads are new but the fluid needs to be changed. I boiled it really bad this summer and have yet to change it. |
Re: brake problem
Yea... so lets see, water goes on the rotors, then you get outside and the water starts freezing immediately, then you dont have brakes for a few hundred feet until you burn off the ice using your brakes to make friction which causes heat :)
If the brakes feel mushy and you have to pump them up a few tiems to get pressure than you might be low on fluid, have air in the system and then need a bleed. |
