Enes you will come out more ahead if you can return it to stock and sell the goodies. You are not going to sell the car for what you have into it, there is no way unless you find somebody with a lot of cash. The reason being is that a bank is only going to give about 80% of book value. So that means that it would be pretty hard for somebody to get a loan for what you would be asking.

Once its modded either you part it out and sell it stock or you get royally fucked out of a lot of money.

Go backto stock f you sell it. With that being said, DONT SELL IT! Your car is one of the cleanest 2Gs around IMO. I love your car!

What would you look at getting?

Kracka 11-26-2003 12:05 PM

Your car is too nice, don't get rid of it!

niterydr 11-26-2003 12:46 PM

sell parts, sell car stock, buy 3s.

Enes 11-26-2003 12:52 PM

i found a 96 tt rt awd pearl white 6sp ...

i am tempted to get that.. but can't justify having two summer cars...

If i got the RT , suposedly it never saw snow, so i would keep it that way..

Or i could keep the GST, and not put any money into it any more... get it just working fine as it is now.. and keep it that way..
and then keep the

black/white cars depending what mood i'm in :)

but one thing.. i know.. i would not be able to keep the RT stock.. i would be super tempted to upgrade stuff

Enes what the fuck are you saying?!?!?! Your car is so nice. Don't sell it. Well if you do, turn it stock and sell me a bunch of your parts.

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 11-26-2003 02:20 PM

Don't sell it, don't downgrade to a 3/s, unless you want a winter beater, go for it ;)

Enes 11-26-2003 02:47 PM

um let me think.. downgrade.. hmm..

3.0 L v6 TwinTurbo All wheel drive starting off with 320hp, starting off with better transmision 6sp, all wheel drive ...

yes it is a heavier car...

but it looks nicer than the 2g better styling

plus i always wanted a stealth

A//// Guy 11-26-2003 05:07 PM

I would take the Stealth but only for a daily driver. I would not upgrade as those engines are packed worse than DSMs. But I like the 3000GTs better than the Stealths.

I dont know... its up to you. I like DSMs and will move on after I have played with them enough.

slowbubblecar 11-26-2003 05:15 PM

sell the car stock and sell me some of the parts. Wish you were awd though.

unreal808 11-26-2003 05:51 PM

I will trade you my 94 saturn today for your car even trade! then you will have a winter car today. than with the time you save trying to sell your car you could go buy a 3000 GT

john 11-27-2003 10:36 AM

Sounds like a deal to me.

niterydr 11-28-2003 11:09 PM

a 96 stealth rt/tt is the coveted stealth. It is the lightest and the fastest from the factory (a few 13.0 runs stock, easy 13.4's, bone stock). A 2nd gen vr4/tt with my mods should be easy 12.7's, 12.4's with a good driver. Now remember I still have completely 'stock' exhaust, for the local dsmer's, i'll upgrade exhaust and intercoolers this spring and give you a shot at me in spring. Then we'll figure out what a 'downgrade is'.
Trust me on this enes, if you can swing it, you won't be disappointed. With a basic turbo upgrade, the only two cars that would keep up with you would be nash and jet, and that would be them on race vs. you on pump on the highway :).
:toast:
just starting some $hit with ya dsmer's, you know I love all of you :brownnoser:

Enes 11-28-2003 11:20 PM

you know.. a few things came up to change my options now...

I will be selling my house and getting a different one in a different area.. so no car.. rather put a bit more of a down payment :(

and that was actually a 94 not a 96 unfortunately...

niterydr 11-28-2003 11:22 PM

well 94's are the first year of the 2nd gens and they can be hit or miss.
They tend to have electrical problems, if any, and some of them have weird injector problems. Still heavy cars, no aws, so they are a bit lighter, but not much, still quicker than my 93 in the 1/4, just not as light as the 96.
Selling your house? thats to bad, but 'upgrading' is always a plus.
Business before pleasure is always a good moto to follow, good luck.

I will go against ya in the spring. What is the deal about a roll though? I will race dig and highway.

Kracka 11-29-2003 12:39 PM

I'll take all of you clowns from a roll :)

Iceman 11-29-2003 02:40 PM

I well race to for the hell of it :)
