front end vibration

On a 97 talon,5 speed,non-turbo.What can cause vibrations in the front end?It has new ball joints, driveaxles, tires have been rotated, not to mention balanced 2 times. It will start to vibrate and you can let off the gas and it will stop. This will start at around 55mph and up.This is a friends car by the way.I have no idea what else could be doing this. Thanks for any help....Nathan

Vibrations like that are usually related to tires. Warped brake rotors can also be to blame. You might try swapping to a different set of tires (from a different car) that are known good and see if it doesn't help. Some shops do a pathetic job balancing and if there are belt shift etc, balancing wouldn't help anyway.

Are the driveshafts in good shape? Considering it only happens when power is being applied I'd like to think it's something in the drivetrain itself. Is the vibration felt through the steering wheel or the whole car?

Wheel bearings? 2g's are notorious for killing wheel bearings.

This sounds far off, but I had this problem, then I realized that the balance shaft belt was fucked. Check that shit mang, if its bad you best fix it asap. You are talking axles though, so maybe this should be dissregarded.

Rotate and balance the tires.

Finally found the problem.Believe it or not it was a driveaxle. Both of them was new but something must have been wrong with that one.Exchanged it for another one and the car rides fine now. Thanks to everybody for helping.....................Nathan
