Preston Trout Days 2005
Keep in mind that Preston Trout Days, or as I like to call it, get drunk and drive in a parade behind, in front of, and between cops, is coming up the third weekend in May. Get your cars ready. We had a HELL of a great time last year, AND the year before.
WE HAVE TO BEAT THIS GUY WITH A STOCK CIVIC SI The MF'er has won 2 years in a row, and all he has done is Altezza's and a plaque explaining how GHEY is car is. Like we need to know. And did I mention the Kentucky Waterfalls haircut? WHOOOWEEE!!!! Suprised he hasn't painted it Orange, and slapped a big Confederate flag on it yet.... Please, if you have a good show car, come. It's $8 to enter, and all we do is drink and BS with locals. They're are about 150-200 cars each year, and we are usually the highlight of the show, even though the show is a "Classic and Custom Hot Rod" show.... Jana won People's choice, Best of Show in 2003, I somehow took 3rd with a gray bumper and no spoiler, and got a HUGE trophy for it... Beer is cheap, the laughs are cheaper, and nothing beats a free place to stay, and having a campfire in my parent's driveway in a BBQ grill. God Bless America. Oh, and drunk bowling. And putting Bratwurst in Joe H's mouth, and taking pictures. And Shaving Joe K's leg |
Re: Preston Trout Days 2005

We should enter a lawmower in the event. With dubs and spinners. |
Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
Where is Preston? and when does this go down? If I don't have anything going on and my car is operational I would be interested. Sorry my car is by no means a show car.

Ask Rollin Joe about "SHOWING" a DSM ;) Preston is exactly 30 miles south of the Rochester City Limits. It's a 2 hour drive at speed limits. 1 and a half with us ;) |
Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
Maybe I'll come.

Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
I know my neighbors would be jealous if I was pushing that bad boy around. Lawn mower envy :D What are the dates for the event?

BTW, the first year we went, the AWD DSMs had a small drifting expo in the field where the car show was held. Lets just say the locals werent too happy with us, but they did insist we come back the next year. ;) And, it was a big on-going joke that continued to the next year's show. The MC was like, "If you younger fellas could not rip up our field this year we would appreciate it..." We were all drunk so we hollared back at him....Its a thing we have. Anyone who is considering going, COME. We always have a riot! |
Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
We have a great time, and our influence is shown...
The year following Jana's win at Trout Days, 3 1997-99 Eclipse's showed up in the local area... Now a good portion of the used car lots contain some sort of Mitsubishi. Lots of 3g's and 2g's... EVERYONE knows and remembers Jana's car in Preston... kinda crazy. |
Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
I might just have to make an appearance that this event. There is nothing like drinking with JDM and making fun of Joe trying to throw his hot dog down some guys hallway. Plus Joe always has beer wherever he goes, so he is good for something.
I didn't want to read all the above posts, so if you said it aleady FUCK OFF. But where does everybody sleep? In their cars? I am sure I could find some skank from town and crash there but just want to know where you guys are crashing. CRAIG |
Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
Man, I feel so special. I just wish I could show up with my car again. :(

Re: Preston Trout Days 2005
We stay at my parents house, but if we have enough people this year, I'm gonna get a hotel room, and I'll invite the local ladies... May be an interesting year this year...
