looks like im going to pass calc but with a very low D. which is fine, i get my credits and i can go on to calc 2. Does anyone know if calc 2 is harder than 1? i want to take calc 2 in the spring but im already taking some very hard classes and that will probably just bring my whole average down even more. which sucks because i have to have my grade average up to 2.5 or better by this time next year to continue in my major. i could re take calc1 in the spring to bring my average up and to make spring semester a little easier. or should i just take calc2 and hope i dont go insane?

I am not sure about your school, but at the couple that I have went to you have to have a C or higher for a class to count towards your major. I found Calc II to be easier, the shit actually started to make sense! It is going to be hard if you don't know most of the stuff from Calc I though. I would probably retake Calc I and take Calc II in the summer if possible.

I'm still stuck at WHS. The only solace I get is the hottie with a GSX :dsmrule:

totally depends on the teacher, i'm in calc 2 right now and my teacher is horrible and thus the class is horrible. from who i've talked to calc 2 is THE hardest in the series, so i dunno do what you want.
its all about the teacher though, do some research, ask around |
I've seen calc2 at UMD, it's pretty basic but it's still tough and it does seem to give everyone the most problems outta all the calc's.

I have always been told that Calc 2 is the hardest of the Calculus series which I can totally agree with but I also believe that out of the Calculus series, Calc 2 makes the most sense.
