New to DSM's and DSMStyle

Hello all!

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Kenny and I live in Colorado Springs. 33, married to a hot Hungarian woman (no not mail order bride ;) ), with a 4 month old son who literally loves a spooling turbo! I kid you not! I have 3 turbo cars and anytime he is in one of them and get's fussy...I just give it some throttle to spool and he giggles or goes right to sleep!

I recently bought a 1994 Eagle Talon from a neighbor for a real steal. I absolutely have fallen in love with the car. This spring I plan to do some more engine/drivetrain work...but it will be a great snow fighter here in Colorado for now.

A list of the current "mods":
16g Big Turbo
2g Throttle-boby
EVO III Exhaust manifold
Full 2.75" Exhaust (Downpipe through to exhaust)
Intake and Pipe w/K&N
Buschur Intercooler to throttle pipe
Manual Boost Controller
A/F Gauge & Boost on the pillar
ACT 2600 Clutch set
Short shifter (don't remember who made it)

Welcome to the site! How is CS this time of year?

Looks like a sweet ride and the kid sounds like a future DSMer!

Welcome to the site!! :D Where did you hear of us?

I would also be interested in hearing more about CS. DSMStyle and myself were planning on visiting there sometime soon.

Does your wife like the car as much as your baby?

Is that one of the turbo Grand Prix's? They're pretty tough to find...

Welcome to the site.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Well to answer everyones questions....

I heard about DSMStyle from another fellow W-body.com member...FastSE2DR. Not sure what his screenname is here...but Tony seems like a great guy.

My wife likes the Talon, but not as much as me! ;) She got a taste of the power this car has..but I did not open it up with her in it because the baby was with us. He just giggled and made spit noises with his lips everytime I got in the gas. My 4 month old son is a blast...put him in front of the TV with NASCAR (which I only watch when they are on a road-course) and he is fussy. In front of WRC, Formula 1, or motorcycle road racing...he giggles and throws his hands around. Truly my son! :D

Colorado Springs is Colorado this time of year. We go cold then warm week after week. We had lows around 2*F two weeks ago...but it is supposed to be at least 60*F today. The cold never really sits in hard until Jan-Feb and then the heavy snows come in Mar-Apr.

Yes that is a 1990 Turbo Grand Prix STE. 3.1 Litre V6 with a T25 Turbo. Way too small of a turbo for the application...but fun non the less. Sitting next to the house behind the Talon is a 1987 Daytona 2.2 Turbo car. Bought it with intentions of major motor work and playing in the auto-x next spring...but the wife says it has to go with the Talon in the garage. Fine with me! ;)

Anytime DSMStyle wants to have a get together here in the Springs let me know and we can have a cookout here at the house. We may actually be in a much bigger house with 10 acres in the early summer and that would be a much better time and place to have a DSM meet, but we can accomidate at the present house too.

Welcome to the site, sounds like you have a lot of fun projects laying around. Stick around for sure, Co. is one of my favorite states, lived there for years off and on and I was born in Denver. I would probably be down for a Co road trip some time.
