Bought something you wish you wouldn't have?

For me it's a toss up between the Scorchers on the GST
- On my old silver 97 GST I have those BF Tire with the red tread in them.

The Altezzas on the GSX.
- On my old 95 GSX I happen to have some sweet tail lights with me at Hills house while he was installing a FMIC and some other goodies for me. I did the unthinkable and put them on right there in his garage.

Put N2O on it, it just feels slow with out it.

Paid money for it.

Allowed a stud to fall into my first new engine. :mad:

Bought a DSM thinking it would be a summer project.

I think the amount of money over the last 4 years has gone too far for me. Compared to a newer car, I dont think I could get something as fun or as nice. But after the amount of work and money Ive put into it, it would be nice to just have a reliable car that isnt so tempting to throw money at.

I dont think that is possible though... any car I will own will prolly get a stereo, and other mods...

I really love dsm's though. Havent driven mine in almost 5 months and its killing me. In a week or 2 Ill drive to storage but then I will have to wait 4 more months...

I also should have waited and not done the UICP, LICP, and other mods that got dumped within a year.. as they were just a waste of money. Also 2.5" exhaust was a mistake...

I bought ropelights for my Buick back in the day. That was pretty ghey.

put about a grand into my ol mazda only to have the clutch go out and have it worth 50 bucks

Tried to fix something, then made it worse and spent twice as much time and money trying to make it perfect.

When I was 17 I repaired the wiring under the dash of my 69 chevelle with an extension cord. In my defense, I knew it was ghetto, but had no other option to get the car running that particular weekend and the girlfriend who lived 50 miles away was all reved up and needing some attention, what else could I do ? I certainly couldn't let the poor girl go without right? I fixed it right about a month later after stupid little electrical issues kept happening and eventually ended up with a grey cloud of toxic smoke emanating from under the dash.

I modded my grand am :(.

Yep, thats gay! Almost as bad as the scorchers and not quite as bad as modding the tempo.

I wish I had never done freemods and started this madness.

Bought it, Rallied it through Ryan's corn field, or entered the burnout contest at Elite Autosport.

I'm on my 3rd Tranny, My 5th Clutch (In my defense, I'm counting clutches with the trannies, which would make 3 Flywheels), the thing has 67k miles, I've replaced EVERYTHING on that car, and it's only a 2003.

Poly motor-mounts and ridiculous stiff springs. I guess these things aren't that dumb...but I really should have kept the term "daily driver" more in my mind while modding.
