Brookdale Dodge?
 

Anyone heard what's going to happen with them now that they are owned by Luther?

I got a VM on my cell that said it was Brookdale Dodges last day since it was bought out and the lady said I should come get my truck by 6pm today as she didn't know what was going to happen with any vehicals left there.

I got the VM at 10 tonight and needless to say I am pretty concerned.

I am going to call tomorrow(today actually) and hope they are still there.

why is your truck there? If it needed work to be done.. wow im sorry dude. If your doing it under warranty, you can take it elsewhere cant ya? If you have ne issues, id sue there ass'!!!

I had them pressure test the system and find and fix any coolant leaks. Foudn one and fixed it. As well as finish my spark plugs and wire install and get me a new battery. That's the work that had been done already. Well the main thing I was having them look at was the transmission. They said it was internal clutch failure and I needed a new transmission. With that and some other shit (ball joints and brakes) they quoted me over 5k. Needless to say I stopped at everything but they said they had a their parts department looking for transmission that coudl sav eme some $$$. We where playing phone tag and the last thing we chatted about was me commign to get the truck but we said I woudl wait a bit for them to have a few more days finding a tranny. Now a week later I get this call about today being their last day and not know and I just don't have a clue. You would think a heads up would have been given more than just a few hours.

that just cant be. Places like that are very professional and im pretty sure thats rude as hell. How can your newish truck be so messed up already? I think you told me you rarely drove it for whatever reason... i think its a dodge thing :) ( those trannies BLOW!) Good luck with your truck, remember that we have the right to sue for whatever the hell we want!

It's a 98 Dakota, and well that says it all with the tranny issue.

Hell, if the are closing down, hook that bitch to a tow truck and tow her ass outta there. If they are closing down and going bankrupt, you could probably get away with not paying the bill. If they ask for payment later at least you got your truck back.

i heard everyone got their notice already.....2 days in advance...lol

i guess there firing everyone then starting it back up to get rid of the union...
