Bush Wins

Kerry expected to give his concession speech anytime now.

I'm pleased.

Any thoughts.

AND LETS KEEP THESE COMMENTS ABOVE THE BELT.

Kougar 11-03-2004 12:14 PM

Thoughts? I think this country will head downhill for another 4 years. I'm feeling so many emotions it's even hard to explain. For all you Bush supporters, put yourself in a democrat's shoes and think how they are feeling right now.

Kracka 11-03-2004 12:35 PM

I expect the economy to contine growing stronger as it is right now. I bet you liberals are feeling pretty shitty right now...but to be honest, me and the other 51% of this country really don't care. The majority has spoken, lets move on with life.

Jana 11-03-2004 12:38 PM

LOL, nice reply Chris!

I'm happy, it's who I wanted to win.

Kracka 11-03-2004 12:41 PM

The economy was in a down-turn when Bush entered the office and he worked to revive it. People do need to remember what happens when the economy grows too quickly and for too long...eventually it will come down; I am sure your grandparents can elaborate on that for you if you don't know what I am referring to.

Enes 11-03-2004 12:43 PM

lost over 1 million jobs with average pay rate of 35K in USA

created 250,000 jobs with average pay rate of 14K In USA

ecomonmy is on rebound!!! for the already rich people.. who own companies..

Oh yeah, we'll give you tax breaks if you ship some more jobs over seas and fire some more of our people!

Kracka 11-03-2004 12:56 PM

I am not a huge fan on losing jobs to overseas, but when you look at the big picture it is actually a necessity to keep this economy strong. Lets think plastic spoons for a moment here....we buy a box of 100 for just a few dollars right now (maybe less), but if they were to be union-made in America, that same box would probably cost us around $20. Now imagine everything imported to us from 3rd world countries was like that, inflation would be absolutely assinign! As for the tax breaks for the rich, they deserve them. They are already paying unporportionally high taxes. About 45% of a "rich" person's salary goes to taxes while the average middle class person pays about 30-35% of their salary. I really don't see the problem there, the rich are covering more than their fair share; they have worked hard for what they have, I say let them keep it.

Im Happy, no reason for me to argue for another 4 years ;) You guys can take Enes on, Im done for 4 years. haha

I like Chris's comments! lol

Take it 48%!

CVD 11-03-2004 01:07 PM

Lets just say I'm a happy gun owner for the next four years. Kerry was a hugely anti gun candidate and I'm sure his ultimate goal would be complete disarmament of the populace - UN style.

I agree that Kerry would do more to repair our status with other nations, but at what cost?

And as for jobs, as always I state that it is not the presidents job to keep you employed.

I'm also a huge fan of tax breaks going to the people who actually pay them. Theres a surplus? Send it to whoever paid the most, not who YOU think deserves it for whatever rediculous reason or another.

1QUICK4 11-03-2004 01:08 PM

I'm looking foward to the next four years as much as the terrorists are fearing the next four years.
I couldn't be happier with the results. 4 more years of take no boo-shit from the US. People all over the world were glued to there TVs waiting to see if America was going to be run by pussy left-wingers or by hardcore right-wingers in the next 4 years. Looks like the lesser of the two evils IMO won.

But John Kerry did gain alot of respect in my book by conceding, it takes a big man to admit defeat. The last thing I wanted to see no matter who won was a big drama filled court battle to further rip this country apart.

I completely agree.

Raptor 11-03-2004 01:30 PM

I am definately happy with the results as well, I agree with Chris and Brian. Honestly I think Kerry was just a puppet to be manipulated by whoever influenced him the most at the time. A follower is not a good choice for a leader. Perfect results IMO.

HEHE Kerry was my puppet, I just kept forgetting to pull the strings. Damnit Now I cant turn all the police stations into donut shops, and make the military serve as my kitchen staff. Well I guess I will just have to settle with watching terrorists piss their pants.

The victory party over the night ruled at Bush H.Q. great time to celebrate a great man! Needless to say I'm more than happy haha. Not only a win, but a historical win with more popular votes than any president has ever won!

Enes 11-03-2004 04:47 PM

they both are puppets in my book..

Shane@DBPerformance 11-03-2004 04:50 PM

Bush sucks. Kerry sucks. The 2 party system sucks, especially in the senate and house where they just vote the party line instead of what they might actually think.

JDM 11-03-2004 05:35 PM

They do both suck.

How many of those jobs do you think would of been lost had September 11th not happened.

And who would we be blaming for this had Gore been elected and 9/11 still happened

Hindsight is 20/20.

I think if you're well enough to use a computer to access this website, and have a car, and can hold a job, even if it's a shitty one, we've got it better than about 5 billion other people on this earth.

Think about this.

It has been proven that a flat income tax of 10-20% across the board for everybody in the USA would do away with the deficit, put more money in your pocket, and make the economy take off like wild fire. Just because they say the rich pay 45% doesn't mean they really do. Can you say "tax shelters?". They have more loop-holes and ways to get out of paying than you could ever imagin.

I don't expect the rich to pay more than me, just their fare share. And that should be even across the board based on percentages. Trust me, 20% of someone who makes 10 million a year can go alot further than 20% of someone who make 15 thousand a year. And who would be hurt worse finacially and make it hard to survive on a day to day basis?

There are loop-holes available to everyone no matter what your yearly earnings are, it is just a matter if you are either 1) smart enough to find them/figure them out, or 2) rich enough to pay someone to do #1 for you. A flat 10-20% income tax across the board would work out quite well, unfortunately for all of us there are millions of people who make no income other than the checks that arrive on the 1st and/or 3rd of each month basically throwing that idea out the window. Like CVD always say, it is not the governments responsibility to get you a job...i know the democrats won't like hearing this, but take responsibility for yourself!
