Poker Stars
 

I played in my first tourney tonight on Poker Stars. It was 7 card stud, and it was my first time playing that version of poker. It's pretty easy to pick up on, since it's so much like Hold 'Em.

Anywho, I finished 3249th, out of 6000. I'd say that's pretty decent for my first time. Plus AJ was out way, way before me. *snickers* He usually does much better than me, but for once I beat him!


Anybody else play on Poker Stars, or other Poker sites?

I play on Victoria's Poker. I usually take top 3 in their free tournaments.

Unless it's a tournament, online poker is boring. Too many people betting on stupid hands, doesn't make it any fun.

I play NL on Party Poker quite a bit. Usually the pots are about 12 bux. But, since it is a NL table, I have seen pots up to 200 bux before. Its a 50 NL table that I normally play so you can only sit down with 50 max. But, as you win, sky is the limit.

I do the poker star hold-em tourneys (free roles) occasionally.
Best finishes are 147 and 242 out of 6k.

I used to play on Yahoo Games and crap like that.

I have played in many 3 table ,2 table, and single table tournys on Party Poker. I have placed 1st a few times and 2nd and 3rd numerous times.

what is poker?

Funny! It's a game that like to take your money, or you can make lots of money. Doesn't seem to have any in between ground. ;)
