I just got a 2G awd, and I want to get an exhaust before the motor is done. What would be a nice exhaust system/combo? Downpipes and cat-backs, only in stainless, and I don't want a custom muffler shop exhaust. 3" or bigger prefered. (And I won't need more than 3", but bigger is better!) Thanks. -Kevin

I would just make your own. Otherwise, HKS always makes nice stuff.

Thermal Research is the best IMO

Definately Thermal. All stainless, top notch quality, and best sounding.Usually cheaper than HK$ too.If you're local, I have the Thermal 3" on my 2g, you could check it out.

Check out the Bosal exhaust. It is polished stainless and it is 3". The muffler has twin tips so it looks stockish. The only thing you may not like about it is that there is a step-down to 2" at the cat, which could be chopped off and fixed. Another good thing about it is the price. Check it out here:

That is a picture of the actual exhaust too. It sounds good too but not like any other DSM exhaust I have ever heard.

One other thing to note, not all 3" exhausts are actually 3". Most companies call 65mm or 70mm piping close enough and advertise it as a 3" exhaust.
