I would like to go awd 1g for my sec car and sell the saturn but what year to get and color?

Best year/Engine would be a 1990-half of 1992? i belive well for sure a 1991 would be perfect! Color hmm i would go with the black cherry.. Mint that color looks good.. Good luck find one :)

Get an early 92 talon. The 6/4 combo in black or blue would look nice.

91 Eclipse gsx either in red or blue.

Whatever you can find for a decent price, most people are hanging on to their nice 1G's these days.

If it is just going to be a daily-driver, year really doesn't matter. If you want it to be a sub 13-sec drag car you will want the 4-bolt rearend which comes on the 92-94's (they are about $400 to buy if you want one on your 90-91). The big brakes are deffinately nice, they came on the 92.5+ AWD's. I personally don't listen to any of the 6/7-bolt nonsense for the 1G cars. One nice thing about the 6-bolts is that they came with larger rods...but then again the 93-94's came with more agressive cams. The 94's also had the best trannies.

Get a White 1991 GSX(eclipse) with a 94 tranny, a 92+ 4 bolt, 93 head, and 95 pistons in the 91 block and the 90 external oil cooler along with a 95 eprom ecu w/ dsmlink harness. Oh yea with 93-94 talon black leather with the 90 talon sliding sunroof.

Whats this with sliding sunroofs? I have a sunroof/ moon roof but its doesnt slide ???

I wish one of the 4 DSM's I have owned has/had a sunroof...sliding or not (leather would be nice too)!

2G sunroofs slide. 1G sunroofs flip up and they also come out totally.
