First of all I would like to thank QPR for all the work they did on my car. They did as follows:

Replaced Water Pump
Replaced Timing Belt and Pulleys etc
Installed Timing Covers ( Of which I had none, and still owe for...)
Installed FIAV Blockoff (working great)
Installed EGR Blockoff and removed emissions
Installed 7cm Exhaust Gasket ( I had 6cm)
Installed Downpipe Gasket (I had none)
Removed and Replaced Broke Stud from turbo
Fabricated New Braided Oil Line (You dont even want to know what was there)
Moved O2 sensor to location where it would work
Installed New Brake Rotors Pads and Caliper Assemblies
Replaced Missing Bolts
Properly hooked up vacuum lines
Fixed other misc mistakes of mine and from previous owner

On top of that they didn't charge me an arm and a leg, like every other shop would have. They worked with my budget and somehow did an amazing mount of work to get my back to operational status. They also notified me that my injectors were of some odd size (not the "STOCK 450's" purchased off ebay). They also said my BOV flange had a large vacuum leak. Also my Coolant overflow tank had a crack and leaked. At this time I was already over my budget and was glad they told me how to fix since they were easy fixes (even for me).

The car had no tabs or insurance so testing out on the street was not an option for them.

I drive the car home. It has to be refilled twice with coolant/water but otherwise works amazingly. I can't boost it because of the odd injectors. I arrive home happy that my car moves under it own power and I can drive once again.

The next day, I buy gasket/selant. I seal the blow-off valve flange, install my 550cc RC Engineering injectors, and fix the dustshield on the brakes that rubbed from my slight mishap earlier this summer. Car runs and drives dandy and boosts up about 5000 rpms. ( I believe my stock fuel pump can't push enough fuel.) Everything goes good except I repeatedly have to refill with water or coolant, approximately after every 30 mins of driving.

While under my hood (a couple days later) I squeeze the upper radiator hose and notice a small leak on the back of the thermostat housing. It only sprays out when under pressure. Ah ha, I proceed to remove housing and attached parts for cleaning and regasketing. I (idiot) use the wrong type of gasket to seal housing when reinstalled all shiny and clean. It didn't make it the mile trip to my house. (Right before I left I noticed my oil pressure is really low, check and discover I am really low on oil, like 2 -3 quarts low. )

So, Today (Friday night)I buy the 'Right Stuff' to properly seal my thermostat housing. I seal it up, let is sit for 2 hours, recommended time is 5-10 mins. I fill with water to check, and there is still a tiny leak, and I wonder if the housing is warped. Well, its good enough to take downtown and show off to the highschool kids cruising the strip.

While down there I watch my temp guage slowly rise after I assume leaking out most of the water/coolant mix. Then as it approached the top of the temp guage it just levels out and stays normal the rest of the night. I don't know if fully sealed itself or what. Proceed to Applebee's with crew. I feel happy driving with the rest of my friends again, one of the drivers in the group. On the way there I notice I am burning oil, or it is coming out of my exhaust alot. Right as we arrive in the parking lot my oil light is on and my pressure has bottomed out. After we eat I go back to worrying and head straight to Wal-Mart and purchase a 5 quart container of Mobil 1. I add almost 4 quarts.

We drive to my friends house which is maybe 2 miles away tops. Its on the other side of Owatonna, which isnt very far. It takes maybe 4-10 mins. From Walmart to there my oil pressure drops and my oil light comes on as I arrive. Now that is approximately 1 QUART A MINUTE RUNNING NO BOOST! I have heard of burning oil but come on! Still I can find no leaks with my quick inspection and again there are no puddles under the car. We watch a movie and I add the rest of the oil I have and limp home. Tomorrow (or later Today Saturday) I investigate further....

Not sounding too good. Give me a call at the shop, I can give you a couple ideas on how to start checking this out.

Just to be specific, QPR did great work on my car and I was very pleased.

The problems come from me buying an improperly maintained modded car, and not knowing a lot about working on a car in the first place. Nothing comes out right at 4am when your angry.

Mike I will stop up at the shop today when we drop off a friend's talon. Thanks for everything.

Thats cool Matt, we will see you then, hopefully we can point you in the right direction for your new problems.
