If i wanted to run my FWD from a stop on a 1/4 mile track. What size wheels / tires would i want to run and why? Obviously trying to makeup some traction.. What rim / tire size.. brands.. obviously slicks but wut if i wanted street radials... etc. Im on if you need ne other wants / info

I think a tire like 235/65R15 is good, lots of side wall is the key. Run it like at 26 PSI or less. a big side wall tire run at a low psi would be better than a 205/45R17 for the 1/4. as far for tire brand, just a soft compound anything. :3gears:

If your serous just get slicks rightaway. Ive been running 245/50/16 nitto drag radials. There pretty good on the street (only spinning through 2nd) But on the track the best I could run is a 2.3 60ft.

They have 235/60/15 (which will not throw your speedo off) in BFG and M/T drag radials.

which one of those would fit best as a replacement for 245-50-16's ....

and also do you need to run the inner tube on most of them?

For track only my M&H RaceMaster slicks pulled 1.8 60s all day long
24.5x9.2x15 but I'd mount them on an 8" wide rim.

I also use MH on 15s,
Although they are 26x6s on Kosie K1s
1.9 and 1.8s at the rock FWD, spinning 1st and into 2nd.
