there is a really good chance that someone on this board took a transmission from in back of our shop. this is a customers tranny so i am pretty ticked off! its a front wheel drive trans and was sitting in a parts car out back. it had to have happened this last weekend. only a few people know of the cars out back so i have a pretty decent idea on who took it. what i'm asking is that you return it imediatly or notify me that you have it. i need this thing back! please!

Where is your shop? That would help in figuring out who might have grabbed it.

in waite park (st. cloud area) it definatly happened this weekend as i saw it in there on thursday.

it was a 1g fwd non-turbo 4g63 transmission.

somewhat good news, astound is across the street and they have cameras scanning the entire area. i will know who did it shortly provided the videos have a good shot.

Hahahaha, I knew that would come up! We found ours, Mark at TKR hooked us up with one last week so nice try! I will say it is the last freaking non turbo anything we do unless there is at least 8 cylinders or some add-on form of forced induction(but then it isn't NA is it) . It was a favor for a local kid. Arn't we swell :bounce:

Now, Back on topic!, Catch the thieves and we can put them in a room with Swanny for an hour, Bring up a local stealth and watch the thief try and cut his own throat to avoid the droaning. That will teach him!

I agree that is way low, why would you steal a tranny. I undestand the fact that dsm's can blow through them quickly and easily but come on I have seen them go for $100-150 and if you cant afford that you probably shouldent have a dsm.

i'm pretty sure the theifs are from furgus falls. they called on thrusday and were interested in buying the entire car but they wanted to know if the tranny sitting inside it was included with the sale. i'm pretty sure he said he was from furgus falls, if anyone knows someone with a 1g fwd from furgus falls that had a bunk tranny please let me know!

as far as the customer goes, i guess i am now giving him my 1g fwd turbo tranny. nice upgrade i guess!
