A friend needs a tranny for his 95 gs-t. I have a tranny off my laser. Will it fit? If so, what would be needed (do I need to swap shift linkages)?

For future reference, can a 1g AWD tranny be used in a AWD 2g?

Thanks, John.

AFAIK they can not be interchanged. I believe the mount to the chassis and the shifter cables are what is different.

The don't mount in the same way, shifter cables are at different angles. hmm there is other stuff but its 3am and im tired...

The 2G CV shafts are different from the 1G spline count.

A 2G AWD tranny can be used in a 1G AWD. The other way around might be tough with the stupid 2G motor mounts.
