The kit consists of twin 50 trim, t04b turbo's. The cars other mods are ported heads, fmic, fuel, nitrous.
Stock lower end, stock cams. Blue is 30psi, no nitrous. Red is 30psi, 35shot. |
here is the big pull. 34psi.
Notice how bad its missing, this was 35shot nitrous, but out of injectors (720's). All runs were done an an awd dynojet. They are gonna try to get it to the track on tuesday. |
sweet..... :)

Only 30 HP from a 35 shot? Is it a dry kit or what? That's weak.
|
its wet, but they are running out of fuel, something like 110% duty cycles.
It made over 500whp at like 17psi ;). |

It didn't pick up additional power because it didn't have the fuel to support the shot.
|
Too bad it doesn't have RPM on there. It does look like it has a big power band though. Any idea how high they are reving it? They have STD correction on also. Are they sure they are out of injector and not fuel pump or lines? 6 720s should support a lot. They are actually a lot richer on the 34psi runs then on the the 30 psi runs, so they should have had plenty of fuel at those levels.

They took that car to the track today and ran a 10.76. Which is a new US record for a 3S. There are at least two cars in Japan that have run faster.
|
at what trap?
|
133 mph The car was also full weight/interior.

lol, so much for updating this thread w/the cars performance.
Thanks chris. also that was on the 30psi, no nitrous. |
Then the car backed it up with a 10.75@135.5 with 35psi, no nitrous.
And a bad 2nd gear syncro. 1st timeslip Then they got booted from the track, (no cage). All in all good fun. |
woah, thats fast
|
That link isn't working. I put the back to back timeslips on the web. Its at:
http://home.comcast.net/~curtgendron/8-31-...1-timeslips.jpg That is an awesome time considering its almost full weight. Probably around 3800 lbs with the driver. later, Curt |
