Actually it really isn't that big. It's 3% which is about average I guess. But the big news is that there is a new position opening up which just happens to be the next level above me! So I will be applying for that. If I get it then I would finally be a designer, which is basically what I'm doing right now, I just don't have the official title yet (or the paycheck). So hopefully I will have some good news within the next couple of weeks. Maybe now I can stop thinking about that civic rally car, and start thinking about the VW instead. LOL :banana:

More OT: Yea that RS isnt going to fly as well as the normal Evo.. Id rather have it be a all option beast vs some stripped out car with no goods... I dont think that 100lbs is going to do much. Maybe 500 then well talk.

If I spend $27k on a car, it's going to have AC. :D I think the RS is a good idea, and it would be great for somebody building a race car, but for the price doesn't make sense for a daily driver.

Oh yeah. It will be alot of what I'm doing right now, but instead of working on a project from start to finish, I will be working with all of the teams. I will be looking at current parts as well as new ones to try and find similar parts that can be consolidated into one. I will also be looking at ways to take cost out of parts and assemblies, both piece part cost (ie: single casting vs. weldment) and trying to make things go easier on the assembly line. Basically my job will be to find ways to save the company money as far as manufacturing goes. It will involve alot of design work (which I will be able to use Pro-E) and talking to vendors and such trying to cut cost without making the product cheap. It probably sounds boring to some people, but I like this kind of stuff. If I didn't like it, then I wouldn't be doing it.
