1) What is the torque spec/procedure for front axle nuts on a 1g AWD? I am sure it is something like torque to 25 ft/lbs while rotating the hub, then back off the nut 1/4 turn. But, if someone can give me the exact specs I would appreciate it.
2) I lost one of those pesky injector clips today. Just curious if anyone has an extra one of if people are running without them at all? I am guessing people would want to have them b/c if an injector comes unplugged, BOOM. Thanks for the help. |
Not sure on the torque spec, but you can get those clips at Checker(in the red "Help" section) or NAPA.They are common Bosch style connectors used on most foreign vehicles for the last 20 years

The torque spec for that nut is 144-188 ft/lbs.
Joe, if you want a copy of the DSM CD just ask the next time you're over. |
yup, thats the torque my hayes gives.

Thanks for all the help guys!
Weird torque spec, most axle nuts I have dealt with use something like I stated above. |
Thats for the bearings like in rwd chevys(in the front) or trailers.
