What's the structure for member classification and the difference between each? I'm guessing post count is the main difference?

It looks so because when you hit 30 you became a advanced member. The 3 read blocks mean you are in the 30's.

Where are the red blocks at? I don't see them anywhere, just blue bars.

And you may see blue bars Jake if you have a different skin chosen. If you have it left as default (red & black) then you would see red boxes under your name/avatar area.
