First of all, let me say that 90's suck. I have to dig a bit longer for everything to figure out how it comes off.
On the intake manifold stay, there is a electrical connector (not the knock sensor) that is bolted onto it. What is it for? I am not going to be putting the intake manifold stay back on. Do I need it? Is it a california model thing? Here is a pic: Thanks in advance, John. |
First off 90's dont suck if you know what you are doing, and trust me there is alot more then just that that is different. It's the noise filter, I think it's a noise filter, for the tach. No matter what it is you will need in order for the tach to work, unless you are going to switch everything over to a 91+. Just bolt it to the throtle cable bracket on the intake manifold.

hmm mine was never bolted directly to the intake mani.... so I guess I never had a problem with that...

Thanks. Santa, yours must have been moved or something like mine will be. I am going to junk the intake manifold stay. I have probly gutted 80 pounds out of the laser. I threw everything into a bag so I could weigh it in the end but the bag broke.

Does anyone know how to test a CAS off the car? The car came with an extra in the pass seat. It is off a 90 also.

I can test them, and I'll buy one of those if they both work.
