On my new PTE I have a 90degree outlet for a Vacuum line.

It's the one that they use to run a vacuum line to the internal Waistegate.

Well I'm external but still have this 90 degree piece which I'm assuming is just going to basically be a big Boost Leak.

But my question is. Do I still need to run this to the Waistegate via a "T" or do I just plug it?

You still need a line running to the wastegate. It's up to you what you want to do with it.

here is a the dilema..

a friend of mine was running his mbc off there and then to the wg ..

he was getting boost spike up to 21psi and then goes back down to 15...

then we pluged that hole, and ran his mbc from the intake mani which produced NO spike/creep ..

The reason why you should run it off the intake mani is because there is boost preasure drop in the IC, also the preasure in the turbo is greater than in the intake mani at all times because the way it works it sucks the air out of the little area and by the time it makes preasure in the nipple it means that the preasure in the intake mani is already greater and the air is presurized equally thru out the ic piping which is not what you want. You want accurate preasure at the intake mani..

Take from your bov and mbc from the intake mani.. do not take it from the turbo....

Sounds good. No one has ever explained it before.

I know how to hook up a MBC, and a BOV.

So from what I'm gathering I should just plug it correct?

You can have it welded shut or put a plug in it. I just T'ed my nipple into the vaccum stream.

BTW, I have run my MBC off the turbo for the past year and a half and I haven't had one problem with it.
