I am unsure of what vaccum lines need to be blocked off and what needs to be reconnected. The line that comes off the canister to the firewall goes to a metal mender which bolts it to the firewall. Is that supposed to be reconnected to a vaccum source or am I just supposed to leave it? Looks like it turns into a hardline of some sort.

There are also a pair of lines that run to the thermostat housing. Are those supposed to be blocked off or connected to a vaccum source? I broke one of the damn nipples off so I hope they are to be blocked off. Looks like they run to a sensor???

SO, in general, you remove all lines off the TB, disconnect where they go to and remove the canister right?
Thanks, John.

The thermostat ones are nothing its just a ut turn inside that plug. leave it open. The one on the firewall extend the tube under the car as it is a vent to the fuel tank.

For the gas tank vent, it isn't a bad idea to put a filter on the line where it comes off the tank and route it back out behind the car. It only took me a few minutes to do and then you don't have your gas tank venting into the engine compartment. If you want to be even a little more careful, you can put a one way valve in it so gas won't pour out it in case of roll over. I didn't on mine but I am sure some might think it a wise move.
