AC work
I'd like to get the AC working again in the Lexus. It's an R12 system. Anyone have any recommendations for a good shop that does honest AC work, help me find and fix any leaks, and get it back running with r12? I could convert to r154, but I've read a lot of info on why you shouldn't, and heard shops hate working on converted systems, so I'm a little hesitant. I had my talon converted to Freeze 12 in AZ because I was told it was a better conversion choice, but doesn't seem like many people have heard of that up here

Re: AC work
$115 on ebay for real R12. That is for 36 oz and you need 35 oz. Just replace all the o-rings, orfice, dryer and put the real stuff in. You can have it pressure tested before you fill with nitrogen if you want. Really not much to an AC system.

Re: AC work
There is an AC place right by the old shop in Blaine. I think we used them once or twice, seemed okay. Worth a stop in and convo maybe.

Close to home, yeah I'll have to check them out.
