This year I plan on voting for the candidate that approves their message in a commercial the most!

We get plenty of this crap on election year. I will wait for that to come before concerning myself...for now we are stuck with the same amount of idiots as we always are in office and will be after election.

Too early to start this nonsense I thinks :)

Re: 2016 Presidential election

Not too early really. Candidates are coming out with their thoughts and platforms, so why wait?

I'm leaving the country if we elect Hillary Clinton. I'm only 98% seriously about that. What a spineless, hypocrite. How can she promote women's rights and equality while simultaneously being the coward who stayed with her cheating husband for political gain.

That said, if we elect some backwater hill billy redneck, I'm like 80% sure I'm leaving.

I do however like that Rand Paul, an admitted libertarian, is going to try to sneak in under the Republican ticket, then probably just run anyway if that fails lol.

At this point, I think you're safe. Hillbilly is sinking fast, I don't think there is enough rope to save her now. Been a very bad couple of weeks for her.

Yes it has...guys like Trump do nothing but muddy the waters and make a mockery of the process.

I watched trump on hannity last night.

I'll say this, he has zero filter and I don't feel like he will "lie" to us like normal politicians.

But I do think he is a bit looney and for the most part unqualified to run a country.

I do think he would make sure we have a balanced budget though.

It was like watching road kill, I couldn't turn away.

LoL, so true.

By way of comparison, Trump could do no worse than Obama has already done. I thought it was a breath of fresh air and humorous at times.

We have to realize that there is no one candidate that can cover all the bases 100%. That's why they have advisors and analyst.

But if we want to succeed as a country and prosper as a nation, we need a "builder", not a "destroyer". Someone who will bring the people together, not divide a nation into groups of victims.

Who is everyone's true favorite right now? I'd personally vote Rick Perry, followed by Scott Walker, then maybe Jeb Bush. I think Perry is still "too Texas" for the rest of the country to handle though, and the moderates have had enough of the Bush family for a while. Ted Cruz in a nut, but might do well with the Hispanics and can tear apart anyone in a debate.

I have no idea right now, my only concern is one of these guys will pull a Perot and split the vote handing it to another unqualified loon the dems produce.

Re: 2016 Presidential election

I was scott walker but even then not so sure yet. I like Rick Perry too but agree he is too texas.

I want to support someone who has a chance and is more moderate personally. Mostly I care about someone who will have good foreign policy and get our budget/spending back to some form of normal.

I just hate the crap that the candidates have to pull in order to get elected and please party lines. Wish someone who had the balance of both and tried to combine the best of both worlds could win but it will never happen.
