I'm changing my clutch and I need/want to replace all the grease boots on the front axles. Napa says that theres two different manufactures of axles and they need to know which mine are so the right sizes can be orderd. I've checked the axles and there are no apparent markings, also checked VFAQ, nothing. There either NTN or..._ _ _...something three letters. Thanks

I dont think there are two manufactures of the shafts, I could be wrong, but I would have to agree that there is two levels of boots cheapo and good stuff. Make the right decision and pay some more bling and get the stuff that last. Just like Tie rod ends dont go cheap buy the high quality moog ones LOL

Yeah i did look at 'em and couldn't find any markings. But where should it be? shaft, CV?

-NTN-, -NSK- are just different brands of Boots -the shafts are the same-!
Call NAPA ask for Mike @ 763-425-4488 its the one in Osseo. or go to Thepartsbin.com thay only have one # for boots :goodluck:

Yeah I found NTN, it's on the outter lip of the CV boot. I just decided to get new axles, it really doesn't cost that much more and the milage is getting up there. Thanks guys.

I've been getting my parts from the osseo napa, they have been very helpful so far.
