He wanted to dyno on the AWD dyno to see what he was putting down and get it tuned up a bit. 1/8 tank of 92 octane and about 4 gallons of 110. EVO 3 16G, QPR FMIC, and QPR headwork. I will let him fill in the other mods as I am not too sure off hand.

Good numbers Matt! And thanks for letting me post this up. So we should mention the bottem end is bone stock and has 171k on it. LOL

Ron at Propulshun also said the RPM numbers are off +/- a couple hundred. The dyno was calibrated to the car at 3000RPM engine speed in 3rd gear because the inductive pickup for the tach signal was topping out at 13000RPM for some reason. It was neat to see an AWD dyno in action, and a 170,000 mile engine spraying oil all over under the hood.

Nice numbers, Matt!

niterydr 06-16-2004 07:12 PM

yeah evo 16g's rock :), having enough fuel to make me happy is even better!
congrats matt, and happy b-day.
and numnuts, it was 4 gallons of 100 unleaded mixed in! not 110.

NICE NUMBERS. I can't wait to see what my big 16 does. ;)

How much boost was this on?

Alpine TSi 06-16-2004 09:38 PM

This was that highest boost pull of all of them. It stayed around 27psi until about 6K rpm when it came back down to about 22-24 psi.

Goat Blower 06-16-2004 10:34 PM

You guys got a dyno?

Alpine TSi 06-16-2004 11:11 PM

No, Ron at RS Motors was nice enough to put their name on the header though. QPR pretty much built my car, in all of its oil hating wonder. :)

A//// Guy 06-16-2004 11:25 PM

Why does it spue oil? QPR just did you head porting and the FMIC right?

ACRucrazy 06-16-2004 11:31 PM

Nice numbers!

joem 06-16-2004 11:37 PM

Oil leaks suck ass.
joe

niterydr 06-17-2004 12:55 AM

we did
abs deletion
cruise deletion
a/c deletion
ported intake mani, head, 2g exhaust mani, phenlic resin spacer, fmic, piping, cai, balance shaft removal, and some other stuff.
not bad for 171k lower end that doesn't like oil!

Nice, but boost levels were kinda high; but regardless, good enough numbers.

Emcee gsxtc 06-17-2004 02:05 AM

yeah, around 23ish psi it made like 308whp, just upped it to get over 310 :). I think the cars next step is maybe a larger turbo :), fresher lower end, cams, sheetmetal.

Im scared to see what the trucks numbers will be....YUCK!

Jana 06-20-2004 12:11 PM

Nice!!!!!! :D

Super Bleeder!! 06-20-2004 06:17 PM

nice numbers for sure, though i do wonder what you wuold have gotten had you run on elites dyno since that would make it easier to compare.

Shane@DBPerformance 06-20-2004 07:16 PM

Probably close to 400whp. Once he takes it to the track and we can see some trap times it will be easier to compare.
