is the rear suspension of the SRT-4 independent side-to-side or is it fixed like a sentra spec-v ?? didn't even realize they made fwd cars with fixed rear ends anymore but the wording on the dodge site seems to indicate only the front end is independent.

damn 3-wheelers in the corners

joem 06-16-2004 03:53 PM

No there independent in the rear

illz 06-16-2004 04:49 PM

You ever underneath in the rear? We have to be careful strapping them down on the dyno because everything back there is very weak. Its hard to find anything to even strap to that won't be bent just by the straps.

sad day, i thought they had a decent fwd there, always a weak spot though.

ACRucrazy 06-18-2004 09:21 AM

Yes its very soft in the back.. but then again.. how often do you have to lift the car up, as long as its solid in the corners thats all that matters i think...

If its not solid enough to lift up, how is the cars weight on the back suspension going to hold up tightly in the corners?

joem 06-18-2004 01:53 PM

It will, as long theres no pebbles on the road.
