Project Skeeter
Well I finally pulled the trigger on my first boat. Very excited to use it this year. It needs a wash and polish really bad. Pretty much making it look good and make it run as healthy as possible.

Re: Project Skeeter
Nice boat. My coworker has a Skeeter, fished out of it in Baudette this spring for Sturgeon. Worked awesome!

Re: Project Skeeter
Took it out this past weekend twice and it sure was nice to fish on a boat. I am having issues with the 24v trolling motor so I'll have to look into it. It suddenly stopped working while I was in the lily pads area.

Re: Project Skeeter
Make sure to keep it well waxed, anything red on a boat tends to fade more quickly than other colors.

Re: Project Skeeter
Always wanted a bass boat as a kid! Very nice.

Re: Project Skeeter
Looks damn near like the boat my uncle used to own! It's been awhile though since he's upgraded...by a bit!
Also reminds me of my dad's Champion. Still looks brand new. It's old but damn is it quick. |
Re: Project Skeeter
The gel coat has faded already but I will try and see if I can bring it back to life. This is just a starter boat for me. Getting used to towing and backing up a trailer as well as loading and unloading the boat in the water. Hopefully in a few years I can upgrade to a 20-21 foot Ranger.

The row rig. Now I need a flat bed trailer to tow the dsm. |
