Isn't this the PIK Fabrication car: looky?
I thought this car just got finished this year?

john 06-13-2004 02:13 AM

Yep, that is it. They were running it last year on a 14b. I believe it ran 12.65. This year they have the new 50 trim setup in it. I believe he is dsmdude on here.

What is PIK fabrication?

pradamike 06-13-2004 01:48 PM

its a place in st cloud i actually have been there and seen this car it is pretty sweet stuff. the kid is pretty cool to who owns it

Yea, it is DSMDUDE (Nate). I guess he just felt like getting rid of it. Last time I spoke with him he is looking at starting up some new dsm project. The paint and everything was done last year. Just new for this year to my knowledge was the 50trim. Last year he was running the 14b with the same mods.

Actuallly, PIK is in Wait Park. Kind of near Duluth. I have been there once and meet him. I also saw him once at uni. PIK is a fabrication shop. There is a pickup with a similar paint job there also. I think they do bodywork, airbags/hydrolics, and they must do mechanics also. The p/u I saw was having some custom bodywork fabricated on it.

They also dropped in a 4G63 into a Honda recently. I'd like to check that out someday. I've met him out at grove creek last year when he was running the 14B. It's with anything custom. If the times comes where it's not so custom to you then maybe it's time for the next project.

He ran a 12.5 and it's near Saint Cloud, not Duh luth.

Same car as last year - with just a 50 trim put on it. He did build a 2.4L but some guy offered him 1,000 more then what he had into it once it was finished. So he sold it.

IF I had the money I'd buy it - (since it's cheap enough)

$11,100 for a modded 95 on Ebay? I'm impressed. I sold a modded 95 two years ago for exactly that price. Paint wasn't as fancy, but it had more mods.

sadly the person who bought the car was a father who was buying it for his kid for his first car. he is picking it up this weekend actually. i had $9000 invested into the car so i was happy with the selling price.

the father that bought it asked me if i could "tune it down a little" so his son wouldn't kill himself, lol. so i am most likely putting the 14b back on and keeping the 50 trim, dsmlink, and 720 injectors and knocking $1000 off the purchase price :)

anyways, i'm building a new project which will be an awd spyder. the car is basicly going to be stock on the exterior this time around with more work concentrated on the motor.

Nice. $2000 profit is a real nice take.

My RSX Type-S is just finishing up on Ebay tomorrow. Looks like I'll get what I was looking for out of it. Now hopefully I get paid.
