Gauging interest/availability
Hey Dsm gurus that shop turbos all day (Brownman, this is you).
Looking for pricing availability on twin 14b's, evo 16g's, EF1's, similar. Something you guys would want for up to 450-500hp tops. What are they going for in used/working condition? New? Trying to decide if I want billet bolt-ons or TD05 goodness. Let me know what is out there. I am seeing the 14b's are kind of rare but still the $50-150. Evo 3's seem dried up, used EF1's are tough to come by but appear to be cheap to have made? (Not sure what needs to be MHI and what can be generic to get a working EF1). Thanks guys. |
Re: Gauging interest/availability
Evo 3 16g's seem to go for $375-$450 depending on condition, not sure about the rest. Mine will be for sale if I can find a nice billet Green.

Re: Gauging interest/availability
Small 16g's go for $200-300. I got $275 for mine. 14b's are ~$100.

Re: Gauging interest/availability
I'd contact MAP and see how much they want for the EF1 conversion.
Best of the bunch and makes the others not worth it unless you just need to move the car. The other turbos, E3 pay about $375 max and about $100 is the price for a good solid 14B. I'd pick the EF1, wish I didn't sell mine really. |
Re: Gauging interest/availability
I can check my stockpile. I should have a couple solid 14bs laying around that are just wasting space. Not worth much to me.

Do it up!
That turbo would be awesome with a 8cm housing and downward facing comp. cover. |
