HID Flickering issue

I was driving my car home tonight and the pass. side headlight was randomly flickering, turning on/off while I was driving.

Could it be dying? I'm clueless on HIDs. This is the factory setup on my '02 330i.

Thanks

Most likely the ballast. Google your car + ballast and see what you come up with.

I would say its the factory hid relay box. you'll need to just replace that. you can usually find an aftermarket one. if you want i can send you the schematic tomorrow.

Not sure how your car is setup, but you could try to swap the bulbs from side to side and see if the issue is still present. If so, then its most likely the ballast. If it moves to the other side, then you may have a bulb issue (although very uncommon).

Bulb went bad in my envoy. It would ignite but then go super pink and dim. Id do like pete said and swap the bulb to the other side, should help narrow things down.

^ those are possible just going by what is the most common issue we see with factory hid. i bet it's the relay, bulb, or ballast hahaha

I've had to replace bulbs and ballasts in HID cars, could be either.
